We started with the hardest job in the business: taking worn-out ambulances apart and rebuilding them better than new. More than 500 remounts later, we’re building our own. SIV Ambulances is a Type II ambulance manufacturer, remounter and full-service shop in Langhorne, PA, built by people who know these trucks inside and out.
BUILT FROM EXPERIENCE

TESTED TO PROTECT
The SIV Responder went through a full battery of crash and sled tests at Calspan, covering the patient compartment, cabinetry, oxygen and equipment mounts, floor structure and cot-mounting system. It passed every one.

WHO WE ARE
SIV Ambulances began with one person and one truck. Sergio Siv completed his first ambulance remount in 2012, years before the company existed. In 2018 SIV Ambulances was founded in Langhorne, PA, and it has since grown into one of the region’s most trusted names in remounting.
In 2026 we took the next step and became a manufacturer. The SIV Responder (medium roof) and SIV Responder XL (high roof) are Type II ambulances on the Ford Transit, designed with direct input from working EMS leaders and built on everything our remount shop taught us.

OUR FACILITY
SIV operates from a secure, gated property in Langhorne, PA, under 24/7 surveillance. Nearly everything happens under our roof: chassis prep, assembly, electrical, custom metal fabrication, welding, custom cabinetry, body shop and paint, service, parts and detailing. Keeping the work in-house means every step passes through our own quality control.
And we’re growing. A $20 million manufacturing expansion, including a new Pennsylvania facility, chassis and parts inventory, equipment and workforce, is underway to meet demand for the SIV Responder line.
